The Best Investment

Prior to Sylvia’s arrival, we didn’t think to buy any thing for her to sit or lay in such as a swing or bouncer. After two days with her, Cody made his way to Target and invested in a $20 bouncer. That has been the best investment so far. Of course, we don’t leave her in there for hours, but when we need to get something done, it’s a lifesaver. She seems to prefer the bouncer to our laps when she is fussy, and when I need a shower, she happily bounces away on the bathroom floor. The newest bouncer use is to watch her Baby Einstein videos. She stares at the TV when we put them on and reacts to all of the things happening. If you don’t know what Baby Einsteins are, they play classical music and display images on the screen that are supposed to stimulate the baby’s brain and eyes. They’re pretty cool and fun to watch.
